The Arizona Association for Lifelong Learning is hosting the annual spring conference on Friday, April 10th, 2026. This year's conference will use a virtual format; the primary presenter must be live, not recorded, to be available for questions and comments.
This is a great opportunity to share your best practices, pilot program experiences, and program successes with fellow adult educators and leaders from around the state.
Please note the following:
*** Complete and submit your form by January 30th, 2026.
*** Complete one form for each proposed session topic.
**** Each session will be 50-55 OR 100-110 minutes in length, on the WebEx platform (supplied by AALL). No breakout rooms available within a session.
Primary presenters must be available to present live, co-presenters are acceptable. Plan all presentations to interact with their virtual audience members.

Teaching through Heritage
Centering cultural traditions, histories, and local communities to affirm student identities and increase classroom engagement.
Practitioner Skills
Developing student potential through academics, career exploration, and critical thinking.
Workforce Opportunities
Supporting job seekers' access to employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market.
Weaving Systems Together
Integrating diverse elements, such as technologies, people, data, or ideas into a cohesive, functional whole.
Digital Tools
Introducing educational digital tools that help with teaching, learning, and communication.
The goal of this conference is to demonstrate quality teaching practices that offer rigorous, relevant, standards-based curriculum to empower autonomy in our learners, support neurodiversity, promote equity in our community, and lead to satisfying workforce opportunities. Please consider community relevance and responsive education when writing your proposal.
Presenters will be provided with a virtual meeting platform through WebEx for their presentation session. Session meeting links will be provided to all participants in the conference program. If you are interested in submitting a proposal to present (or if you were previously contacted and agreed to present), then please submit the form below.
