Kate Redmon, founder of Light & Salt Learning, has worked with struggling learners for over 15 years, teaching remedial math in her home state of Hawai’i, tutoring adults with disabilities, and as an Arizona adult education instructor. No matter the setting, her success in reaching non-traditional students remains constant, reinforcing her core belief that all students can succeed. In 2014, she founded Light & Salt Learning with the dream of providing free and low-cost, high-quality educational resources for GED instruction accessible to every learner. In the decade since, Light & Salt has equipped thousands of struggling students and their instructors with the resources they need for success.
